Smart Lock Needs Recalibration

The Yale Smart Lock Pro must be calibrated properly for optimal performance. During the initial setup, follow the steps to ensure the lock is calibrated according to your door. Recalibration is necessary if the Smart Lock stops operating as it should. For example, if the lock circle displays as green when the door is actually locked, recalibration is needed and should fix the issue.

Before proceeding with the recalibration steps, open the lock faceplate and remove and reinsert one battery. Next, while you are within Bluetooth range of your lock, follow the steps to recalibrate:

  1. Open the Yale Access App and navigate to the affected lock
  2. Select Lock Settings
  3. Scroll to and tap on Calibrate Lock
  4. Follow in-app instructions to recalibrate

This should correct lock performance issues due to miscalibration.
