In the event that you need to re-key your lock, you will need to replace the cylinder. This guide provides instructions on removing and replacing the lock cylinder for the Assure Lever Keypad (YRL216) and Assure Lever Touchscreen (YRL226).

Removing the Cylinder:

1. Remove the lever from the exterior side of the door.
2. Remove the cylinder from the exterior side of the door.

Replacing the Cylinder:

1. Insert the new cylinder, ensuring that the cylinder tailpiece is installed vertically.
2. Make sure that cylinder is installed with the bar away from the latch.
3. Press the pin when installing the lever to ensure that the lock is not damaged.
4. Test the operation of the lock by locking and unlocking with the key.
