Using the Lock
Follow the steps below to set up the Assure Lock/Andersen Touchscreen :
Program the Lock
A master entry code is used to change the lock settings. A security best practice is to set your master entry code with 6 or more digits. To set the master entry code:
- Wake up the lock by placing the back of your hand on the touchscreen.
- Enter master entry code and press the gear key to continue.
- Enter your 4-8 digit master entry code, then press the gear key.
Your master entry code has now been created. It is important to remember the master entry code in the event that you need to reprogram the lock in the future.

Create Entry Codes
A master entry code must be created before creating any other entry codes.
- Wake up the lock by placing the back of your hand on the touchscreen.
- First, enter the master entry code and press the gear key.
- Press 2, then press the gear key.
- Press 1, then press the gear key.
- Enter a 4-8 digit user enrty code, then press the gear key.
Add more user codes by pressing the gear key, entering the 4-8 digit entry code, and then the gear key a second time. To exit the programming menu, press the check mark.
We recommend a separate user entry code for everyday use instead of using your master entry code to unlock your door.

Deleting Entry Codes
If you wish to delete an entry code from the lock:
- Enter the master entry code and press the gear key.
- Press 2, then press the gear key.
- Press 3, then press the gear key.
To delete one entry code:
- Enter the entry code you wish to delete, and press the gear key
To delete all entry codes, except the Master entry code:
- Press 0 0, then press the gear key twice
To unlock the door using an entry code:
- Press any key to wake up the lock.
- Enter the entry code and press the checkmark.
