With the Yale Smart Delivery Box, you have a convenient way to receive packages and keep them secured until you arrive home or are ready to receive them.
We recommend placing your Yale Smart Delivery Box in the location where you typically receive packages. The box needs to be within Bluetooth range of your Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge which needs to be plugged in inside your home.
The Yale Smart Delivery Box has two options that you can use to receive deliveries: Delivery Mode and Keypad Access.
Delivery Mode
When the Smart Delivery Box is in Delivery Mode, the delivery person simply lifts the lid of the box and places your package inside. Once the lid is closed, the Smart Delivery Box locks and you will receive a notification that the delivery was made.For additional deliveries throughout the day, you would just need to unlock the box using your Yale Access app.
To enable Delivery Mode:
- Open the Yale Access App
- Select your Smart Delivery Box
- Scroll to ADVANCED DEVICE SETTINGS and select Device Settings
- Under ACCESS MODE, toggle Delivery Box Mode to On
PLEASE NOTE: The Auto-Lock setting on the Smart Delivery Box must be disabled for Delivery Mode to work properly.

Keypad Access*
If you have a Smart Delivery Box with the Yale Smart Keypad, you also have the ability to give entry code access to your Smart Delivery Box. Simply provide a code to your friends, or give one to delivery companies when you fill out the order details. This is also great for delivery services like UberEats - simply message your driver with your entry code. Follow the instructions in this article to provide Guests with entry code access.
